Sammy Andrews joins Music Minds Matter Board of Trustees

We are very pleased to announce the appointment of Sammy Andrews, Founder and CEO of Deviate Digital, to our Board of Trustees. 

With a career in the music and technology industries spanning over two decades, Sammy brings a wealth of experience and a deep understanding of the challenges facing music professionals today. Her work has championed innovation, artist empowerment, and industry-wide transformation, aligning closely with Music Minds Matter’s mission to ensure everyone working in music can build thriving and sustainable careers. 

Sammy joins us at an important time. In 2024 we delivered over 5,000 tailored mental health interventions, supporting more than 3,000 people working across music. Among the services we provided were 608 clinical mental health assessments, helping music professionals access the right care pathways for their individual needs. 

We invested over £1 million into mental health services last year, ranging from therapy sessions and emergency support to specialist helplines and preventative education. But with one in three people working in music facing a mental health challenge, and many more at risk, we will endeavour to increase our reach, with the support of partners across the industry. Our offering will continue to grow and diversify, ensuring that people in music can find the most appropriate, effective support, and that mental health is centre stage.
